How to raise awareness and inform a mainly illiterate group of people? Leaflets or brochures are of little use. Therefore Ekta Parishad has a long tradition of Songs and Slogans, They are important tools to spread the message of Ekta Parishad and to strengthen the rural people. When artists of the Ekta Kala Manch or other activists go to small villages and sing the Ekta Parishad songs, rural people can identify with the texts and include themselves in the struggle for land reform. Singing together or shouting the Slogans together unites them in a very strong way.
